greater angle-wing katydid
Microcentrum rhombifolium

Recently hatched eggs on leaf of coral ardisia (Ardisia crenata), Highlands County, Florida.
Rather than laying its eggs within plant tissues or in soil, this species lays its eggs in exposed rows on the
edges of leaves or along stems. The white specks on some of the eggs are remnants of the hatching process.
