Research Responsibilities

Develop IPM strategies for various pests, search for biocontrol agents and construct models for ecological systems analysis.
Teaching Responsibilities
Teach a graduate level course in Quantitative Insect Ecology(ENY 6202); lecture in courses on IPM, Biocontrol and Biomodeling; and supervise graduate students pursuing MS and Ph.D. degrees.
Extension Responsibilities
Develop agricultural data bases and software, give advice on control of ant species.

Accomplishments

Developed techniques for incorporating natural enemy effects into crop/pest system simulation models; conducted foreign exploration and procured biocontrol agents for ants and other insects; developed computer software for agricultural data bases, diagnostics and decision-making for agricultural problems.
