Educational Material
The early detection and reporting of invasive, exotic species has the potential to prevent pest establishment. Collaborative and Enhanced First Detector Training for New York formed in 2014 as a multiagency educational effort focused on enhancing the early detection of exotic, invasive pests that threaten agriculture, nursery industries, and natural areas.
Training topics of scripted presentations for educators of Master Gardeners, small farm producers, nursery growers, public garden staff, and state park personnel will be available soon for download. However, if you participated in one of the June 2014 workshops and would like a copy of the presentations for your notes please email Rachel McCarthy at rachel.mccarthy@cornell.edu.
