FREE Unlimited Technician Training
satisfies Florida Requirements
The computer-verified CEU tutorials developed and sold by UF/IFAS are also authorized by the State of Florida to satisfy the requirement for training in Pesticide Safety and in IPM.
Once purchased, these inexpensive tutorials can be used to train an unlimited number of technicians at no additional cost. Computer-verified tutorial results for each technician/ID Card holder are simply printed off and kept at the company location to verify the required training.
The following UF/IFAS CEU/training tutorials are available to meet the State of Florida requirements for technician training.

To summarize the rules, as they apply to the UF Tutorials:
- Have the technician\ID Card Holder take the tutorial.
- For the Label and Bug Tutorials, print off the results which provides his or her name, the date the tutorial was taken, the name of the tutorial and the score achieved.
- For the Core2 or Core6 tutorials, print off the Certificate at the end of the test. A score of 80% is required before you can print a Certificate.
- Fill out either DACS form 13662 "Identification Cardholder Training Verficiation," of DACS form 13325 "Continuing Education Attemdamce Verification"
- Depending on how you keep your records, place the tutorial results and the DACS form in either a company training folder or the employee's folder, and maintain that folder as required by the State of Florida.
- NOTE: You are only required to send in a $10 verification fee if you are applying for CEUs. There is no charge for using the tutorials for Technician\ID Card Holder training as you are not required to send any materials to the UF/IFAS Verification Office. Simply maintain the tutorial results and state forms at your site.
