Course Description: This course requires an investigation of major insect,
mite, and tick vectors of disease to man and animals. Students will learn to identify
mosquitoes, ticks, mites, lice, fleas, and other disease vectors. This course requires
use of internet resources to obtain detailed information on specific pests of medical
and veterinary importance, as well as the diseases they transmit. This course should
be taken at the same time as or after taking ENY 4660.
Laboratories:
A. Laboratories are located as assessments on eLearning.
B. Open the course in eLearning.
C. Click on the Assessments link on the left column. You will have unlimited time
to complete the assignment. You will be able to work ahead, if you desire. However,
the site will close on midnight of the Monday when the assignment is due.
It is your responsibility to stay on schedule. Make sure you complete the lectures
on or before the date on the syllabus.
